Sargent, Nebraska Community Center

The City of Sargent has completed its new Community Center, located
at 314 W. Main Street. The Community Center is available for meetings
and social occasions. For reservations and rental information, contact
the City Clerk at (308) 527-4200, Monday through Friday. You can also
download the forms and information here on the city website and bring the
completed forms and fee to the City Clerk's office.

The Sargent Community Center

Oscar's Palladium
Sargent's previous community center was Oscar's Palladium, still
located at 105 North 2nd Street. With the completion of the new
Community Center, the Palladium has been sold to private owners.
Oscar's Palladium was owned by the late Oscar Melham. The Palladium
once boasted that famous big band era bands such as Lawrence Welk,
Bobby Mills, and Guy Lombardo came to perform. People came hundreds
of miles to dance and listen to the music at Oscar's Palladium.
